Veritas Florida grades K-4th emphasizes student exposure to and comprehension of core knowledge in literature, writing, grammar, vocabulary, history, geography, and fine arts. The Veritas Florida Grammar School curriculum incorporates methods developed by Charlotte Mason, such as narration, memorization, picture study, and sketching. Weekly assignment sheets guide students and parents in preparation for the next week‘s class. Veritas Florida grades 5-12 are taught from a distinctively biblical worldview throughout the subjects. The curriculum integrates Bible, history (world and American), literature (classical, American, British), composition, grammar, study skills, logic/critical thinking. Students receive weekly assignment sheets delineating the work required in each subject area.
Veritas Florida seeks a true partnership with churches to host its program and each partnership is unique. Our goal is to formulate a mutually beneficial agreement to remunerate the church for the use of the space. During our time on the church campus, we ensure that each child and family behaves in such a way that shows gratitude for the use of the space, taking great care to be respectful of other's property.
Humanities classes meet one day per week from 9:00 – 2:00 p.m. Elective classes meet on another weekday, meeting times vary, and are dependent upon having enough students by grade to comprise a class.

Candidates for Enrollment
The student who will prosper in Veritas Florida is one whose family values academic, spiritual, and moral education. He or she is from a family that understands the home to be the primary educational entity in the child's life but which also appreciates the value of a positive teacher/mentor and peer group interaction in a small-group setting. The student who has a strong work ethic and who has learned to appreciate the rewards of work well done will find that while the Veritas Florida approach may be rigorous, it is not burdensome. The family seeks an education that will prepare the child to grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.
